Being a convert to Islam can be tough in the beginning, and even long afterwards. How you identify with yourself and with others has changed in a big way. But it’s a beautiful change and a gift from Allah SWT that we cherish.
It’s always nice to meet other new Muslims, to share journeys and advice, especially in an informal & non-judgemental gathering with like-minded converts. It is not going to be lecturing from the Qur’an and Sunnah, but instead a social gathering and an opportunity to be supported, if that’s what you need, or to provide support to other Muslims, if that’s what you’d like to do.
There will be qualified scholars on hand to answer any questions you have about being Muslim and living your life as a convert.
